Peter is entering his third year as UMBC Head Diving Coach and his third season as Retriever Dive Club Head Coach.
Peter was born in Bulgaria, Europe. He won more than 50 National Titles throughout his diving career. He competed for Bulgaria in the 1992 Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona.

In 2000, shortly after he finished his competitive career, he came to the United States as a performer in a High Dive Show in Williamsburg, VA.

In 2001 Peter moved to the Washington Metropolitan area where he became a recognized coach at Montgomery Dive Club in Rockville, MD. Moreover, he coached at the College of William & Merry - Willaimsburg, VA (2000-2001) and at the American University - Washington, D.C. (2001-2003). Peter was also one of the coaches representing USA at the 2008 FINA Junior Diving World Championships - Aahen, Germany.
Peter has been judging the USA Diving National Championships since 2001.

Assistant Coach
Andrew Eckhoff

Andrew Eckhoff is entering his third year as an Assistant coach at Retriever Dive Club. Prior to that Andrew has been Head Diving Coach at Russel Mill Swimming and Divign Club for 4 years.
A University of Maryland Baltimore County student who is in his Junior year studying Environmental Science. Born and raised in Chelmsford, MA and has been diving for 7 years. Andrew's diving career started in High School. He moved to club diving at both Charles River Diving and Boston Area Diving shorty after. Andrew won Summer League Diving Championships two consecutive years. Andrew's diving career culminated with his performance as part of the UMBC Varsity Team with placing 4th on 1m and placing 2nd on 3m during his Freshman year and placing 2nd on 1m and 3m in his Sophmore year at the America East Conference.
Andrew Eckhoff currently holds the UMBC school record in diving on 3m.

Assistant Coach
Tim Perkins

Tim Perkins is entering his second year as an Assistant coach at Retriever Dive Club.
Tim is a Sophome at the University of Maryland Baltimore County studying Psychology. Upon completion of this undergaduate degree Tim would like to continue his education in Physical Therapy. Tim's diving career began as a Sophmore in High School. In his Senior year Tim won Frederick County Championship at Tuscorora High School.
Tim was the Assistant Coach for the Frederick Area Divers for two seasons. In 2011 CMDL Season Tim was the Head Diving Coach for the Lochearn Dive Team.
